I’ve read The Great Gatsby a few years ago, however, I wanted to read it before seeing the film, which should be arriving in the coming days.

The Great Gatsby is set in the twenties a time of great prosperity material offers an interesting take on the 1920s through a well written prose and an interesting plot. My only niggle is that some of the characters seem to exist solely because of advancing the plot. I also found that even the main characters are not developed enough, at least for me gusto.En is generally a well written novel.
Beautiful, elegant writing, however excellent character sketches, and still has its own magic web, capturing a while back NY, as well as corruption in the 20 s the hit.

I like flawed characters but believable. I like the slice of life approach and how such a short book transports the reader into a period of decline before. I also like the use of color in metaphorical ways.
This is the second time I’ve read this book and I was more in love with her the story is quite addictive. Constantly left me wanting to read more and more. History absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this book to all readers
