I got this for my wife originally kindle fire hd 8.9 but started using it when she bought the same model of Kindle for my birthday and she was not using the keyboard. Charges easily and has a charge for long. Bluetooth sync easily. has a mechanical switch to turn it off when not using the keyboard. Keys are large and have a good feeling. Dropped a star because it is difficult to see the markings on the keys unless it is in full light. This can be difficult in low light, like an airplane.

The controls on the top to control the reproduction and sound are nice to have. The case seems sturdy enough for my travel needs and folds and unfolds very well. There is a border of material around the edge of the Kindle fire hd when in the case, and when you fold the unit, the screen does not touch the keyboard. This helps protect the screen from scratches. Then magnetic closing flap prevents leaving open. However, I think this is a very good product for the money. Get it while it is on sale

I ordered this as a solution to the difficulties experienced in tactile sensitivity kindle fire hd to kindle screen. It seemed this would solve keyboard errors I was having with the Kindle
